All three mares looking very ripe and rapidly expanding udders but not looking anywhere near to foaling yet. Starting to get to a bit of a race as to who will pop first, me or the mares! Lol Just my luck it will all happen at the same time though at least that will keep my mum out of my hair as I will get her to do foal checks. Fricken calves are doing my head in! Sunday, August 2, 2009. Today I took Troy out with my friend Liz and her little mare. Another different environment for the wee boy, and again, he surpassed all of my expectations. The ride was around a very large dairy farm which is local, and its probably easiest if I list the things we encountered. After a lot of hesitation, we are now the Puddle King. spent most of the ride with Troy actively hunting the puddles down, and sploshing through them.
